Ali ibn Abi Talib married the widow of Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra)

Asma bint Umays had been the wife of Jafar ibn Abi Talib, the brother of Ali; After Jafar died, she married Abu Bakr and bore him a son whom he called Muhammad.

This  same Muhammad was appointed  by Ali as the governor of Egypt.

When Abu Bakr died, Ali Ibn Abi Talib married her and she bore him a son whom he called Yahya.

Also another sign of love and friendship between Abu Bakr and Ahl Al Bayt was that the granddaughter of Abu Bakr (r) was married to Muhammad Al Baqir, the grandson of Ali, who is considered the fifth Imam by the Shias.

Professor Ehsaan Elahi zaheer quoted from the books of the shia themselves, proof of the connection and ties through marriage that existed between the family of Abu Bakr and Ali.

Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr – the grandson of Abu Bakr and Ali ibn Al Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib were maternal cousins. i.e Muhammad’s and Al Husayn’s wives were sisters. They were the female prisoners  captured at the time of Umar; they were the daughters of Yazdagrid ibn Shahriyar and the granddaughters of Chosroes. Professor Zaheer discussed this issue in detail in order to prove ties through marriage  and the love and friendship that existed between Abu Bakr and Ahlal Bayt. (See Ash Shiah Wa Ahlal Bayt)

All of these ties of marriage prove the bond of love respect and freindship that existed between Abu Bakr and Ali and their descendents. If what the shia claim was true that all the other Sahabas has apostasized and were truly Kafir and according to their own fatwas, marriage with sunni is forbidden.. then why did their Ahl al Bayt themselves marry the infidels! Their fabricated lies and concoctions fall flat to the ground in in light of these intermarriages between Abu Bakr and Ali’s families! Truth stands out clear from falsehood.
